Q: Where can I get my dancewear/shoes?
A: You can find girls' plain pink or black leotards and pink tights at most major retailers (e.g. Target, Wal-Mart). You can also shop or request catalogs at online dancewear retailers such as Discount Dance Supply.
Q: My daughter loves to perform. Will there be performances?
A: She will have many performance opportunities. We have a community outreach program where we visit area nursing homes and churches for dance performances in full costumes. Some of our youngest ballet students through adult tap and ballet students participate in these performances. We also have public ballet performances for the intermediate to advanced students. Other performances include joint projects with area arts organizations and groups.
Q: Regarding the dress code, what do you mean by "PLAIN" leotard?
A: PLAIN leotard means leotard without complicated designs with many straps, swimsuit-like cut-outs, attached tutu or other embelishments (e.g. rhinestones, sequins, bows). Examples of plain leotards are: short-sleeve round neck leotard, tank leotard with scoop front and back, and simple camisole leotard.
